PPP 23-07: Standardization and preclinical investigation of traditional herbal formula for the management of chronic kidney disease

The NRC team conducted its first monitoring visit of the year on 23rd September 2025 at the University of Kelaniya. Prof. Nayana Gunathilaka, Chairperson of the PPP Committee, joined the visit in person together with the NRC team, while PPP Committee members Prof. Chandana Jayarathne and Prof. Surenthikumaran participated virtually.
In addition to the NRC representatives, the Principal Investigator, Prof. Priyani Paranagama, one of the Co-Principal Investigators, Prof. Nimanthi Jayathilaka, and the Research Assistants participated in the session in person. The project has shown significant progress during the current project period, and the PPP Committee members provided positive comments and suggestions to further enhance the project outcomes.
